These binaries were all built from the mozilla cvs repository (http://www.mozilla.org/cvs.html), off the MOZILLA_1_4_1_RELEASE tag, with the following commands used to obtain source: On OSX/Unix/Windows: cvs co -r MOZILLA_1_4_1_RELEASE mozilla/client.mk cd mozilla gmake -f client.mk checkout Read http://mozilla.org/build/distribution.html for instructions on how to build a copy of Mozilla suitable for distribution. mozilla-win32-1.4.1-installer.exe contains core.xpi (compressed core browser files), mail.xpi (compressed mail/news files) and the installer required to install them, plus talkback. This is your basic win32 client release. mozilla-win32-1.4.1.zip contains all of dist/bin from an optimized build. This package includes many debug and test files, and does not include an installer. If you do not understand this, you should use mozilla-win32-1.4.1-installer.exe. The following files contain the talkback library, which allows reporting of crash data.
